The smaller scope helps reduce the content bloat, though it falls short of expectations in the narrative department, owing to a disconnected mission structure and an even blander protagonist. This back-to-basics approach captures the soul of an Assassin’s Creed game and I really hope Ubisoft doesn’t give up on this route.
